Cornwall Gun Show Find...

Hey,

Just got back from Cornwall. It was a pretty small show, about 20 tables, mostly militaria and stuff. There was maybe a total of 25 guns in the whole place.
One fellow had 5 or so Enfields. As I walked up to his table this No5 caught my eye and I immediately asked to see it. All the numbers match and the wood and steel is original finish.
All in all I had a pretty good day.
Now I just need to get the headspace checked out go shoot it. ...

Was the seller from the Cornwall area? What was the price range?

I think the guy was from Trenton. He said he will be at the Merrickville show next weekend.
The price was Very fair.
He also had a No4 Irish contract in minty shape but it got snatched up before I could even pick it up. He was asking $300 for that one, if that gives you any indication. Very fair.

BTW, anyone know where I can order headspace guages in Canada? I know I can get them from Brownell's, but I'd rather just get them in country.

Boy that show has really diminished.It used to be a pretty big affair 20 yrs ago.John Denner used to run it.It was well organized and well attended.

It was at the Armory on 4th St. The next one is in September, don't know the exact date.

Re: headspace guage. A fellow member contacted me after reading my post and I now have guage on the way. Thanks.
