We have been notified by an importer that ammunition is starting to run low. There is not as much been produced, USA is stock piling and there is not as much in the supply chain. It will seem plentifull for a little while, however like how storable food went, once it runs low or out it will be sudden.

Wow.

I always wondered if I had been stockpiling too much.

Now, whether it is enough.

Everything's gone off the shelves here in small town Alberta, my wife had to leave town to find eggs and bread. I've got a flu and everybody is so crazy over this that I got booted from work for 14 days to self quarantine just incase.

The kicker is I used up all my vacation time in January when i got Bell's Palsy and the meds were screwing with me bad. 2020's been a terrible year lol.

What about our beer supply in this country? We got enough beer to ride this thing out?
After this case and the next case, I only got one more case to last the week!

Influenza also doesn't survive 9 days on surfaces, doesn't spread by aerosol.
We have vaccines for multiple influenza strains.
We've got generations and generations of genetic adaptations against influenza.
We have ZERO herd immunity to SARS-CoV-2.
We still haven't developed a vaccine for the SARS virus from two decades ago (At least, not a vaccine that is WORSE than having no vaccine at all).
If you actually buy into the "just a flu" line, then I have an oil sand mine to sell you.

Well said good sir!

I think influenza does spread by aerosol (tiny droplets of [bodily] fluids sprayed around)

You can make you own hand sanitizer with 90% Isopropyl Alcohol (works best, but you can use 70%), and Hydrogen Peroxide. As always proper hand washing is best

No frozen vegtables, toliet paper, lysol, bleach, hand sanitizer rubbing alcohol, feminine product were gone, and very little canned goods today at walmart and superstore in edmonton

Not sure about the banana thing, but I figured I better get a few regular things like infant Tylenol and Advil given the fact I have a little one on the way. The shelves were empty. Lots of other products in the store (minus TP and hand soap). Bought some Blueberry Sausage to throw into the mix for breakfast!

Our government, is not educating people how to behave. The other day in Costco only one person had mask . Let's take it a bit seriously, instead of hording stores just act responsibly.

Stay safe.
Be courteous.
Stay charitable.
Check in on friends and family.
Build community.
Maintain righteous disdain for the predators who upset this balance for personal gain.

Even in crisis, manners and discipline still matter.
