Corrosive 7.62x39 sold as "non-corrosive"

With all due respect, cleaning a rifle after firing corrosive and cleaning a rifle after firing non corrosive is absolutely not the same thing.
You can keep your dirty uncleaned rifle in your safe after firing non corrosive for years and it wont bother the gun whatsoever. If you don't know why there is a difference, well then really what the hell are you doing responding to this thread.
The guy bought non corrosive ammo he expects to be firing non corrosive ammo.
My dad's Winchester model 94 stayed in his case for 14 years after being shot and not cleaned. It passed on to me and guess what, I roughly cleaned it and no rust. So all you clean nannies out there take a chill pill, if you fire truly non corrosive ammo your rifle won't fall apart if you don't clean it.
I've never had any firearm rust due to firing non-corrosive ammo. That isn't even what this thread is about, why do you keep pushing this topic? OCD, everything MUST be cleaned directly after use? Or are you a Lever Arms employee?

Been there once when I lived in van, for about 10 seconds, saw the guy's face with his ugly attitude, I didn't even know who he was, I just turned around and left. I shopped at reliable gun during the rest of my time in bc, a much happier experience.

column and never shop there again. I've never shopped there and probably never will, based on the experiences of others who have.
Lever arms is the only one to blame here. I live at the very opposite end of the country and I still know to stay away from there after the many threads on here of their "non-corrosive" fraud.
Even if you give your rifle a quick clean after shooting non-corrosive, how many people are going to pour hot water and windex down the barrel and gas system? Nobody, it wouldn't make any sense. So your rifle is still going to rust.

There seems to be this inherent fear of non corrosive. Just clean the rifle normally and promptly after shooting and you will have nothing to worry about.
The only extra step I take outside of normal cleaning is that I use Windex down the hot barrel immediately after shooting, then oil the bore. I don't even touch the gas system until I get home. No hot water either!
As a result, my non chromed barrel has a mirror finish and the gas tube shines like glass.

Its not a fear of non corrosive ammo, its the fear of a legit business ripping people off and selling corrosive ammo as non corrosive, you should not need to use windex or hot water after shooting if you are shooting non corrosive, you should only need some bore cleaner and little oil, and alot of people don't have alot of free time to go out shooting / clean there rifles, that's why they buy non corrosive so they can go shooting when they have time and clean when they have time, and some people don't like the cleaning for corrosive ammo so that's why they buy non corrosive
Well seeing he payed good money for non corrosive ammo and got corrosive i would have to blame lever, if he wanted corrosive he would of bought it a lot cheaper and he prob would of clean for corrosive ammo.
But using what was suppose to be non corrosive ammo and ended up being corrosive, how is it his fault it rusted?
Oh I get it, no explanation needed. I was once of the same belief.
Fact is, corrosive ammo requires one extra step that takes 2 mins (windex).
Last time I was out, I shot 180 rounds of corrosive. I finished shooting at 5pm, and didn't clean my SKS until 10pm. I cleaned it normally, which took me about an hour, then I went to bed. Easy.
