Oh I get it, no explanation needed. I was once of the same belief.
Fact is, corrosive ammo requires one extra step that takes 2 mins (windex).
Last time I was out, I shot 180 rounds of corrosive. I finished shooting at 5pm, and didn't clean my SKS until 10pm. I cleaned it normally, which took me about an hour, then I went to bed. Easy.
One extra step while cleaning, yes, but sometimes you don't want to, or don't always have the time to clean it right that night, where if it's non corrosive, i can clean it tomorrow or next week. Or if i just bring it out to sight it in and put a few rounds through it, i don't feel like tearing it down completely for the sake of 6 shots.
