Through my 858 and no rust at all, anywhere. If you do your diligence and clean your rifle (regardless of what ammo you put through it) it will remain reliable, quit being lazy haha

Military drill has soldiers cleaning military firearms even when they don't shoot them, part of this is for rifle soldier familiarity so you can clean them in less than perfect conditions and realise when some little part has dropped into the mud or gone in backwards. The rest of us get these types of guns and don't even clean them after we shoot and then we wonder why our guns rust up after a couple of firings when the military guns can go through a war and then be sold in pretty good shape as surplus .
