Does anyone know if MFS uses corrosive primers in some of their ammo? I picked up a box of .223 HP 55gr Mil-Spec Steel Case ammo to try in my new rifle, and when I was shooting it I detected a similar smell and taste in the air that is almost identical to that produced by the Czech surplus 7.62x39 that I have been using in my SKS..... The other box of MFS I had, 62gr soft point ainc plated steel case, did not have the same odour and taste when I was shooting it.
