Is that all the details you could come up with?

Just jerking your chain!!

The Cortona is manufactured by F.A.I.R. They were originally manufactured by Verona until they folded up. The F.A.I.R models are a much better quality gun than the Verona manufactured Cortonas falling somewhere in line with B.Rizzini and Ceasar Geurini. If memory serves F.A.I.R is some kind of joint venture with B. Rizzini guns? Do you know it's age? The later model Grandes are case coloured receivers with a gold pheasant on them, very nice turkish walnut with fine checkering and 28" barrels with screw chokes. They are imported by Kalispel but I have no idea of new price to value the used one against.

Is this a F.A.I.R or a Rizzini Gun?
Prophet River usually has one or two on these guns on his gun rack, head over there and see what you can find.
$750-$1000.00 ball park I'm guessing, but could be wrong..very wrong maybe.

***Nope, none there as of this posting time.

The F.A.I.R. version is a well made gun and is very similar to the Savage Milano (The Milano has less engraving and a more basic finish). F.A.I.R. is "Fabricca Armi Isidoro Rizzini".

I believe the one at $1,450 has been for sale for a while.

Had a look at the Cortona today and was a bit surprised by the ....... the.......... well the
age spots on it.
Been used pretty hard so I'll pass on this one.

Thanks for the info.
