From what I can google Kalispel Case Line (a Native org in WA) imported these from Italy. Cortona's were made by F.A.I.R and apparently are quite a good quality shotgun.

Seeing some on gunsamerica site a gun shop in NC was 'blowing them out' - new units for $1000 USD.

When imported I suspect the retail price was quite a bit higher than that.

If'n its on your table in Kamloops I might offer you $200 ;) :stirthepot2:

The old Oasis Sporting Clays Center in Mesquite Nevada had a bunch of Corona's which as someone else pointed out were made by FAIR and they seemed to have good luck with the guns. Unfortunately they didn't seem to fit me very good so I always used one of their Browning's or Beretta's when I shot there. Don't know what they did different on the Corona's since the FAIR guns usually seem to fit me pretty good.

OK Kamlooky, but I can't add much. They were a competitively priced over/under branded for and sold on the US market. Good solid generic Italian guns like many other little known guns that never found much success in the market, not due to any shortcoming of the guns but more because of lack of exposure and feeble marketing. Compare to Franchi ( which survives thanks to the gigantic Beretta machine), FAIR and others today. It should give you good service and would clean up nicely but value wise today it has to compete with new modest priced Turkish made guns which are now climbing the ladder.

Kalispell Case is one in a line of failed importers rebranding FAIR guns to the US. There have been two incarnations of Verona also.
Even now, FAIR shotguns are inconsistently available from Italian Firearms Group in the US. Many retailers are out of stock.
Your gun was originally offered at approximately $1600 US, but many were sold off just under $1k, when Kalispell Case failed.
Condition matters when evaluating a gun. The pictures seem to indicate fair condition, as you said.
The collection of chokes don't add much value, in my mind, because I believe they only fit some FAIR made guns.
If you clean it up, you likely have a very good using gun, but small marketable value.
Just one man's opinion.

Well craaaaaap………………...I found a name for this kritter…………...FES..(Z)...……………………………..:onCrack:

Hopefully mawr yewse will chime in.

The forend crack shows up on a lot of over/unders, particularly Italian doubles with closely fitted forends. Not a flaw, it is usually caused by improper removal or installation of the forend. In other words, the nut behind the butt.

Looky, in my humble opinion you have a real serviceable shooter that isn't worth much due to it's condition, it's name and as someone else pointed out, it's competing with cheap new Turkish guns. That makes it a tough sell to someone who doesn't know that it's a well made gun. I'll go out on a limb here and say that I'd start at $750 or best offer if it was mine.
