Has anyone had any experience with the corwin arms mosin sniper repros? Is the vomz pu replica a good optic?
The only review a have seen on that scope was from riflechair (awesome YouTube channel btw) and he said he had problems with the turrets not working properly and being ridiculously hard to turn. Has anyone else had luck with the rifles?

I bought one off him at the local HACS show in march and have put around 250 to 300 rounds thru it. The first 20 to dial it in and I've been shooting 3 to 4 inch since with 1971 russian surplus. Its a replica of the WW2 era optic and I assume that is good for a 73 year old rifle. Go to MOSINNAGANT.NET and it shows how to dial it in. I would suggest you use blue loktite on all the screws as mine loosened up a touch after my first range trip. Besides Martin stands by what he sells and will deal with any problems if something should come fail.
Good Luck Sir

Which screws did you loctite? The mount screws that go into the receiver, thumb screw or the turret locking screws?

I've handled about half a dozen and as far as 'looks' they are excellent.

I think he could have gone one step up and put original surplus mounts/scopes on them - but then I am sure that they would be passed off on the secondary market as 'fakes'.
