Corwin's 858 Dust cover scope mount reviews?

Just wanted to bump this up, how's everyones mount so far?
I bought one and used it for about a month before one of the rods broke off. The good thing is that corwin arms repaired it at no charge. I just took it out for another session today, shot about 400 rounds through it and it looks like the back part of the scope mount is starting to bow out. I'll try to post a photo of it tonight.

Fvck!!!!!!!

Mine held up excellent till about 2 weeks ago when one of the metal legs (which get inserted inside the reciever broke off). Was good until this happened

I am just waiting for corwin to correct it for me

Still waiting for a photo to understand what you mean by "back part of scope mount is starting to bow out". Thanks.

Which leg is it? Maybe it's the same one as Redblack. Let's figure this out together. From what I can can see the "3 legs" part is military surplus part that's been attached to the receiver cover.

I use the NEA forend rail system and I have yet to re-zero mine and I take it off for cleaning everytime.
 
I have the Corwin mount. I have an Aimpoint T-1 Micro on it. It works great so far, only about 100 rounds down it though so an extensive review regarding durability can not yet be made. I did remove the mount and re-install once without a noticeable zero shift. If it changed by 1/4 or 1/2 minute, I am likely not to notice as we are talking about 7.62x39 with surplus ammo here with a 2 MOA red dot.

To Superlative,

Screw driver prey mark on the back. Someone tried to disassemble the rifle without dry firing first

If you look on the recieved of the rifle, there is a bump there that cause the mark. The aluminum is quite soft. I'll post another picture tonight showing the bump
 
In order for it to bend this way, the receiver cross pin has to bend. If the receiver cross pin is bend how did you get it out? It would have to be cut out. Half in. screw driver is the problem. That mount has no movement on the cross pin
 
Just a quick update, I spoke to the manufacturer and we need to do a minor modification to how the stock mounts to the gun. He sent me a few steps on how to do this. I'll post some photos next week when I get the replacement mount.
