cossack muzzleloaders

thanks for the input guys.

i'll keep my eyes open for a french military flintlock... for cheap!

cossacks are reknown for their cheapness.

until then i'll see if i can get by with a 54 calibre trade gun.

cheers
brian

ps: for SURE gotta get me one of them hats tho!

Cossack, Shmossack!

Frankly, my dear Horned one, I just cannot picture you with either the extravagant nose hair<<<<<<<<< mustache or the shaved-except-for-a-prophet's-lock hairdo. H:S:
What will She-Who-Must-Be-Consulted say about this revised appearance?

Regards,
Joel

p.s. - when ya coming through again?

Aren't you thinking of "und ruhig fluhs das Rhein" from the Niebelungelied?

cheers mooncoon

No I am thinking of

"quiet flows the don" trilogy of cossack social and political interest. Must read for anyone interested in european martial history. Get the oldest translation you can find. The swearing cossack women are a hoot when translated poorly. Set somewhat later then the era of interest here but in a few thousand pages there are if memory serves some reference to front stuffers.
