Cost-effective 223 rifle

Was kinda hoping 1000 or under seems like 1000 is the new 450 thanks, Liberals

I would look for a used Savage 11 or Remington 783. They are out there and you can get in under your budget with a used scope. I own both rifles (223 and 308) and like them equally. No issues either one.

Take your time. You'll find something. I got my Savage 11 a couple years ago for $450/shipped and put a $200 scope on it.
