soo, Ive been walking throught the local crappy tire last night, and I thought Ill check if they have any .303 in180 gr (somehow they runout last year)

to my amaizment they sure had remington made 303brit, in 150gr, for $27 a box!!!
what gives? that use to be $18/box last year(if not cheaper)

I know, I should reload my own, but I dont have a space right now (it will come in the future I hope)

now Im thinking I should be buying on line, but is the cost of shipping not going to make it just as costly as the store bought ammo?

yup reload, I use Hornady 174grn RN over 39grn of IMR ???? I can't recall offhand but I think 4895 but I'm not sure. I use 3 different IMR powders 2 Winchester, and Hodgson 380 for rifles and without my notes and manuals there's a big chance that I may have got the wrong one.

Besides reloading is a good hobby very peacefull,

From all I've read on US sites...watch out the price of ammo is set to go much higher yet! So are many of the US made components!

Winchester 303 PP's at my local Can Tire are $20, Walmart has them for around $18. Milarm in Edmonton has Igman 180 gr for $14.00.

"...the cost of shipping..." It'll negate any cost saving. Shipping costs are set by the weight, distance and the size of the package.
"...dont have a space..." Got the space for a Black and Decker Workmate? Plus some storage space. You don't need a whole lot of space to reload.

Did you try places like Bass Pro or even Walmart? Nothing there was much higher than $20.00 (note: I didn't check the grain, tho).

YES!!!!! I have the thread subscribed to:)I just need to wait till I get some more cash, to buy some of you

Payed just over 13$ for 20 180 grain at Al Simmons the other day.

I had a chance to stop by on last Sat, but didnt have the directions to the store, and I didnt trust my memory:( maybe next time

it looks like Im gone need some serious supply, I couldnt hit the target at 100m on Saturday, so I know I need more practice, now I start to wonder how did I get that bear last year at 80m

I looked around on Our Auction sites for 303 British and We still have Surplus floating around for good prices but no one is willing to ship to Canada.
brand new 303 British sell's for almost $30.00 American for 20 rounds here so I reload to save a bit of Money.
The Range Officer where I shoot let's Me take all the used Brass I want as long as I promise not to sell it so I get a lot of free Brass for reloading.

I was there just a few days ago, but I didn't see any. What brand of ammo was it?

I picked up a couple boxes of UMC .303 from Bass Pro for a little over $15 per box. It's been the cheapest FMJ ammo I can find as of late.
