A few variables...

Where are you? Cost vs shipping

Calibers? Case feed plates and conversions

Volume? What accessories you should purchase with the press

I got mine from TSE during their Easter sale, which saved me 5% tax (Alberta tax???), for $660 (shipping to Southern Ontario included).

I've found TSE to have the best prices, bar none, on all Dillon gear. They're placing another Dillon order shortly, I'm getting the casefeeder, so I'd contact them for pricing.

Thanks for the info. I'm in Manitoba and want to load 38 and 45 ACP, but may want to add more calibers later and would like to " buy once, cry once" .

Go to Dillon and download the manual.Make careful reference of the shellholder plates and the cartridges therein.Most plates load multiple calibers,so there is no need to buy multiple conversion kits when you might just need an extra powder funnel or index pins.Dillon loaders are superb, but a little careful shopping can make a world of difference.

I have a 650 and a 550, plus some other single stage units. The 650 really sings with a case feeder. Without it, a 550 is about the same speed. Buy the case feeder.
