Hi there. I was just curious if anyone would happen to have an idea as to how much it would cost to make a small firing pin. It is for my Marlin Model 80 rifle that I recently bought. I finally had the chance to try and fire it, only to have it fire on the second attempt. Upon removal and cleaning of the bolt and firing pin, I am led to believe that the firing pin is worn on the end just a little. I do not have a lathe, so cannot make one myself. It is simply all round, and was wondering if anyone would have an idea how much it would roughly cost to turn one out on a lathe? I have the means to heat treat, just not manufacture. Purchase plus shipping from the US is cost prohibitive as to the guns value. Any thoughts or ideas to pricing would be appreciated, as well as places I may ask for pricing. Thank you.

Attached is a picture of the drawing of it.

A good tig welder useing 100% co2 gas for cooling could put a tack weld on the end. A die grinde and emery cloth to finish it off.

Thank you MRP. I will keep this for my records, as this will also be a good thing to at least try.

This would be wrong.

You will need a minimum purchase of $25 USD and they may or may not ship to Canada.

Huh, they have it listed as international orders to Canada under $9.99 is $14.95 shipping, I don't see any $25 minimum even when you go through the checkout process. Also the items that can't be shipped international are clearly labeled in red.
