Cost of Parkerizing?

IIRC Armco will do an entire pistol for about $175.

That includes normal stripping and refinishing.
Your part sounds to be much less than this.

do it yourself, cost you less than 50 buck in chemicals to do more than one gun, I ahve done my bren, several 1911s and loads of parts i have also done my garand action, barrel and all the bits and pieces, its not hard at all, and once oyu are set up should take about an hour from start to finish, normally 45 min. You jsut need a good quality stainless steel tray.

Hunter and others would surely beg to differ. Can be done cheaply and without special stainless utensils.

Is the info readily available on this?
I've got an 870 I'd love to do, but was hesitant.
I do have access to a bead blaster.
Thanks.

*I was told by a parkerizing solution vendor that longer barrels and actions could be done in PVC vessels with pre-heated solution.
