I was at Costco for some suplies and this thing caught my eye.

First thing I thought "Goddamn top must be fiberboard to be that thick." Negative. It's SOLID LAMINATED PINE. Damn thing is almost two inches thick and has a great surface. Even comes with a rubber workstation mat. All the diamond plate is aluminum.

Next thing I thought was "Goddamn thing is gonna be too flimsy." Negative. All steel contruction with the exception of the wood top. All corners are welded, and the bolts used are not cheap pig metal. The table weights about 150-160 pounds, and comes with straps to secure it to the wall

Has two locking drawers with proper smooth sliding tracks. The drawers click shut so they don't open in their own.

That's my Blackberry sitting on it for size reference

$199 while quantities last.

SWEET! I've been looking for a table for a gun room to get into reloading.... Looks like this fits the bill PERFECTLY!!!!

I'll check to see if they are at the Calgary Costco....

Was looking at that bench this week. I didn't like the aluminum edging around the table, felt sharp.

I did come out of there with a great buy, a 4 set of LED flashlights (9 led's) with 12 duracell batteries for 15$

I was thinking on the side as well (press).

Or even just bolt it down through the top somehow...

Sure...if you get the right length bolts, you just bolt it down over the drawer like you would in any other position.

Just means you have to raise the handle on the press (I leave mine that way anyway) to open the drawer.

Nice frind BT ~ I'll check it out next time I come over for a visit! Might be something I'd consider for our place!!

I've been drinking and I honestly can't tell if you're making fun of me... :D

hey here they are one of the very rare mainstream store that will carry gun related items like safe. i am not saying your not right but its just that we have to consider whats going on this side of the border

Costco seems like they get a lot of 'press' here at CGN... so I will remind ya'll that they are rather 'anti-gun' and have a strict anti CCW policy in the states

............if you did any research as to what companies were antigun and didn't want to support those companies, you would probably end up having to make/grow your own food, gasoline and clothes. Just a fact of life.

If you mounted your press on a "Riser plate" you could still mount in front and keep your drawers.Dillon makes something for this purpose for their machines and my Bud just built one out of wood.Works well and he can detach the riser
box from the bench and easily take it with him to the range.
Looks like a decent solid bench to me.

Yet they sell gun safes?

Selling Safes Doesn't Make Up for Being Anti LEGAL CCW

IIRC I said specifically I wasn't tellin ya what to do, it was just somethin to think about. I even included the links to back my claim up.
So what if they sell safes?
I still see them as anti-gun.
They are against legal CCW. I see that as evidence that they are antigun, that's what I wanted to point out.
Safes can be used for anything, and as far as I see it: Its like a government wanting to ban smoking to save healthcare dollars but is in love with the taxes made on them. Don't get me wrong, I like the store... I just like knowin a little about where I shop too. Not sure anything's wrong with sharing what I've learned... I suppose I could be wrong.
It was a pretty big deal down south. Heaven forbid one mention it up here.

Sorry if I hijacked or offended. Wasn't the intention.
