Been shooting firearms for 25+yrs,Got really stupid at the cottage slaughtering pop cans When I figured I could shoot both barrels from the hip.Jesus H Christmas was I ever stupid,Ive fired SGUNS from the hip before never had a problem.Both barrels at once and it kicked the break open lever about 1/2" into the web of my hand and torqed my thumb,Lucky it didnt break it.I was really lucky to get away with a stitch and a bruised thumb.So just in case your as stupid as I am I wanted to send out the warning.Dont fire both barrels at once on a shorty.Dave.

Done both barrels with one hand on the outlaw. No cuts or bruises, but my hand was kind of sore.
 
I like to keep my thumb on the same side as my trigger finger when shooting heavy loads, specially with a tang release ,but even without a tang lever I find it helps me avoid hitting my nose with my thumb.
 
I did it with max dram loads the trigger guard bit my front finger and the front trigger bit my finger that was on the rear trigger minor cut it was totaly worth it!!! yeee mutha f___n haw!!! I took a file to the offending areas when I got home

I would like to see a video of your thumb on the same side as trigger finger when doubling heavy loads from the hip.:popCorn:

Thanks for the warning. I would never even try shooting both even if I owned an outlaw. I have the Grizzly and I'm working on controlling it a little better. ;)
