Cougar 18.5 semi & railed forend

So was at SFRC yesterday playign with the new Cougar from Canada ammo, we re tryed our our new Remington 1100 railed forend on the cougar as well as the oversized charging handle.

The rail system fitted perfectly and took less then 10 secons to install.
The charging handle did not do so well, sot all that shocked .
It had to be sanded down a little to fit, which allso has to be done at times on factory remington 1100s.
But we forgot to take some pics so hears some on one of S&J hardware,s test guns, a factory rem 1100.

remove the rubber washer that comes with the cougar.

as far as i know yes it will, the front rubber is just a spacer.
as long as the o ring stays with the gas system all should be good

My cougar didn't come with a oring so I assumed that the rubber "spacer" was actually a seal used externaly on the gas system?

i think its made by a company called DMW i cant remmber,works really well.

The rubber ring replaces the oring. It seals the gas between the ports and piston.

In that case one will need to install a 1mm O ring like whats on the factory rem 1100.

Yep, I replaced the cougar thick rubber with a stock 1100 1mm o-ring. Everything bolts up fine now.
