A Steyr Mannlicher is a work of art... Just bought this one, could not let pass it by me, not very often you get one of those availaible. 300 WM... JP.

I got the Luxus standard with direct trigger adjustable from 1.5 to 4 pounds and the wood panels instead of the engraved aluminium panel, the picinatty rail is part of the barrel, i will order one barrel in 375 H&H with it's picinatty rail, so 300 WM and 375 H&H, i am good for anywere in the world... JP.
 
This is exactly the one i am getting... JP.

I have a couple of Steyr rifles, a Classic Mannlicher in 222 and a Pro Hunter in 6.5x55. Both great shooting rifles. My deuce has almost as nice a stock as your new gat. FS

I am i big fan of Steyr rifles, this one is my 6th one... 2 Scouts... 3 Prohunters and now my first Luxus, they do pop up once in a blue moon and i cant resist buying them, all Steyr rifles are shooters and...Keepers... JP.

Arent they something else, just great, Wanstalls got a SSG69 ll, if it make it for another month in their inventory, i may buy it, i took the Luxus first because 3 out 6 of them are 308, this is my first 300 WM Steyr, got a Big Bore 450 Marlin and one in 270... JP.
 
I just sold my SBS (270 WSM) to a co-worker, he was drooling over it since I bought it. Replaced it with a Model "S" in 7 Rem Mag. Bought another "S" in 257 Wtby and already had 2 fullstocks, an "L' in 308 and an "SL" in 222 Rem Mag.
Beautifully made rifles.

Not a fan of the SBS or the new Luxus (I don't like the 2 piece stock). I do like the pre-SBS Luxus and I have one in 7mm RM - it is my go-to rifle. It is very accurate and the set trigger is absolutely fantastic, especially for shooting off-hand.

I suspect you will be happy with it!

The old Luxus is based on the S, but with a much narrower stock and steel magazine (in-line as opposed to rotary). They even made them in full stock versions; I have never seen one in real life but suspect it would be a sweet handling little rifle.

Since the new Luxus is a modular concept, when buying my 300WM i did order a 375H&H barrel ( should have it in a couple of months) for it, did cancelled my trip to Africa since we bought our house in Provence, but you never know, in a couples of years, one rifle, 2 barrels all set for the African country... JP.
