alrighty so a guy im on course with showed me this today. any body hear anything about it? is it coming to Canada? non restricted? i did a search and didnt find anything on it so if there is a thread already my apologies.

Looks pretty sweet, if it is NR I will be adding one to the collection. I am surprised manufacturers arent flooding RCMP with new firearm designs until they get a few more NR options. Thats where the money is at.

There is very little market for firearms in Canada. Its not worthwile for us or euro companies to try and introduce new designs.

Why do people keep repeating this rubbish?
It is an easy matter to put a longer (18.5"+) barrel on a new gun.

There's more to designing a new rifle than just sticking a 18.5" barrel on it.

I think the comment is about all the ar15, ak, ect. manufacturers out there making money without the need to design a new rifle that would be non-res in canada. Why take the time and investment on designing a new rifle when the old ones make them money.

Exactly right. Lots of good designs selling nicely in the US, no reason to redesign for the small, nearly non existent market in Canada.
