Our laws are perfectly simple to understand. The lieberals didn't want civilians owning guns and they certainly didn't want you owning anything that looked scary. Thus they wrote an ambiguous, contradictory and unconstitutional law to piss gun owners off and make it as difficult as possible to own guns.

Although you're right, I think you give them to much credit for writing the law the way it is purposely. Ignorance explains most of it.
