in 1000yd BR, the unlimited class is just that - if you can lift it, you can shoot it.

There are some real big honking monsters used.

That's not a rifle, because a rifle requires a shooter and that employs an operator. I'm sure we can learn a lot from devices like that, but fortunately we have rules and classes that keep such projectile delivery systems in laboratories and special classes, and out of the field of competition against shooters.

you are WRONG. There is a class for them in 100/200 yard benchrest, Unlimited. Rail guns are the boys toys when it comes to benchrest. The boys play with them and the REAL shooting begins when the bag guns come out. Watching guys rattle off 10 shots in 15 secs or less in a condition is something to watch. They are like a well oiled machine. I enjoyed watching the guys shooting them at the NBRSA Nationals that the only gun missing out of my Benchrest arsenal is a rail.
