A guy at work found a few rifles in his father's basement, could anyone give me an idea of what he should ask. Sorry, I did not take the pictures.....

Short Magazine Lee Enfield, AKA No. 1 MK. III*. Maybe $125 - $150. If the magazine is missing, knock off at least $50.

Bog standard SMLE sporter. Assuming the bolt and receiver have matching serial numbers it's in the ballpark or maybe a little higher than tiriaq estimates. Any additional matching serial numbers are nice to have as well.

If the magazine is missing, or the bore is pooched, any damage effecting function (like the bolt head rail being buggered), it's not worth much.

Repro slings sell for $25-$35 bucks.

The sling looks to be Canadian (dark metal ends/hooks) $50 + shipping. I sold one for the same on eBay...
