Pretty excited leaving for Africa in one month, am heading to Rourkes drift after the hunt anyone been there and where did you stay? Was thinkin about fugatives drift anyone been therefor accomadations? Having problems figuring out how much a rental car is going to set me back any insite you can provide would be great only need a little on as I am solo
 
with the amount I have dumped into this trip yes car rental cost at this point is a costly factor going solo so no one to split the cost with.
 
I have two weeks of hunting for plains game Kudu, Gemsbuck, Gnu blue, Bushbuck, Oryx, Impala, Warthogs, Caracal, and Baboon if lucky, Rourkes drift is an area chuck full of history, in particular it is the place of a battle against the Zulus in which the highest amount of Victoria Crosses where awarded in a nut shell. cheers
 
When we were there in 2007, our PH took us to some memorials from the Boer war himself, a museum and sort of a show about the battle.

See if your PH can arrange it for you, often the can for next to nothing.
 
Good luck, sounds like a great trip! Don't forget any medications that they recommend- Is Malaria a concern?
