Im very surprised the gun shop couldn't recognize a counterfeit.....I have my doubts.

Kinda sucks for legit sellers, but I skip any Leopold and Zeiss scopes on EE. Just not worth the risk

would be nice to see which store thinks it is fine to misrepresent, and sell counterfeit as they don't want to make good and get the police involved.

I agree I would only buy older glossy ones as I dont think they are faking those

I got a Counterfeit Leupold just last week or so-- from a Gel blast shop.
They claim that some guys want knock off looking Leupold...

I got a refund and sent it back.... Frrkennnnn!

It was the vx3i 4-14 version that gets around... I actually purchased a 1.75-6 version

I wouldnt buy one wether it was real or fake. They are overpriced and have failed me too many times. Kahles ,Swaro or German Zeiss and Im happy but Meopta and Leica also work for me.

Nah, I think it was just a bit of a cover up to calm my farm, as I said I emailed Leupold the serial an it's Fake...looked just like the fake ones on YouTube etc ..

It sorta makes sense for the Gel blaster scene... Bla bla. Whatever though .
