finished these off today- gettin better...

i shot chochy this rut april. w 7mm08 162sst 50m. full rut
brus's first shot buck this april- 308 150gr about 50-60m also full rut

I enjoy your threads. Those look fine and the eyes are great. Some mounts have the most hideous eyes and the manner in which they are fitted is not complimentary: small as they might be, eyes are a large part of a mount... ruin that part, a guy might as well went with a bleached skull or leather covered cap and antlers only.

Yep self taught , mostly goin off youtube videos and trial an error!
they are getting better though an that is the main thing!

Agree NC with the Eyes and also Ears being important areas to work on! took me some time with the ears, think i have it worked out now, an the eyes are going on!

got a Sambar stag to do in the month so will see how that one goes- its for a lady up the road so gotta do a good job as its not for my wall haha
