Couple New Toys...... Ruger Rimfire Pistols Can't Be Beat!!!

The MK 3 can be a pain in the ass to take down and get back together if you don't watch a couple U Tube vids of little tricks that you do to get them back together .Then it's a cakewalk !!
I got pretty frustrated with mine , till I finally found 1 specific vid that helped me out.
 
Bastard!!!

I am gonna have to add a SP101 to the collection as soon as I can find one.

Tempted to import one and forget the ridiculous waiting lists once they start shipping to Canada.

I have looked at Taurus, and even the S&W's but that SP101 4.2 stainless can't be beat IMHO.

And the wait continues......
 
Great guns. As more time passes I'm starting to fall in love with Rugers. Just waiting on my Ruger Single Six in Stainless. Should be here in a few weeks. Was really hard to find.

Do it once and its easy.
People who own a firearm apart and cant take it apart are either stupid or lazy in my opinion. BTW nice guns.
 
I've had a Ruger Mark II since the early 90's.......one of my favorites to shoot....not very finicky about what ammo it eats either....unlike my 22 barrel for my P226!!
Plus the Ruger is easier to shoot well. Great firearms!!
 
I've had my hunter now for about 5 or 6 years. I wasn't keen on the fiber optic style sight. Fast but not great for target shooting. I had the sights replaced with a regular adjustable partridge style target sight by a gunsmith. I'm glad I did it. Just another consideration if you end up not liking the sights it comes with. Keep the pistol, it's a nice one.

I had the same problem with my New Model Ruger Single six. And only with Winchester. I would take out the revolver, scrub it off with a stiff toothbrush and it was ok. I think it's just residue causing the problem. I'm shooting Remington bucket O bullets now. they're fine.

Waiting on my Att to claim my new Mark III target.

that's a fine set of handguns, btw.
