Couple questions regarding scopes

I was lookign on the Bushnell site and i couldnt seem to find the 4200 6-24x50mm and couldnt seem to find them??? do they still make them? and if so, is it a 30mm tube or an inch tube?

Second question. Anyone tried the burris tactical line? How are they? What is the price? Know of anyone who has em in stock? OD green scope from factory is nice!

I don't think B&L or Bushnell made a 50mm in that power range. 40mm yes.
 
The Bushnell site is probably one of the worst of its genre in the industry. No specs, no tech details and no older/discontinued models.

Also, previous years scopes sometimes move down a line...4200 becomes 3200, 3200 becomes Legend, Legend becomes Trophy etc. Send them an email and ask.

the burris XTS should be around 725-750$
im getting one. screw bushnell and their crappy marketing. I read about the XTS on SnipersHide and they seem to be real good. Alot of people mentionned optics better than that of Leupy's VX-III so im getting one, 3x12-50m with mildot, wether im getting OD green or black matte, i dont know yet
 
Anyone have opinions on the Reflex scopes by NcStar or Marstar I think they are the same. I am also looking at the Kobra brand on the Kalinka Optical Warehouse sight. I shoot at 100 yards using .223 caliber.
 
I completely agree with you about the Bushnell site. You'd think a large company like that could do better for information etc. I sent them an email and it was never replied.

Yes, bushnell still make them. The elite 4200 6-24x50mm comes 2 different models.First one is the elite 4200 6-24x40mm with 1' tube and the elite 4200 tactical 6-24x50mm with 30mm tube,both comes with a 5' sunshade.I think the tactical model is the one you are looking for and the price is just appox hundred bucks different.The tactical is about $650 at www.wholesalesports.com .The Burris XTR 6-24x50mm are nice,appox $1230 cdn!!!and don't know who has em.

That's kind of funny , I sent them a Email as well stating that it was pretty hard to choose a scope when all you have for info is a F'n picture. I didn't get a reply niether

If you are buying the Burris XTR, buy the 6-24x50mm with 30mm tube model,you will not be disappointed.The Burris glass is clearer than the VX3/ mark4.
