Coupled LAR mags and reloads

Whats so hard about it?
I can change the mag in less than a second without focusing on coupled LAR mags. All you have to do is understand how to grip the mag and you're set. The only problem with this setup is the fact that the couplers are plastic and the mag sometimes slips ever so slightly off the lip. A problem that is easily fixed with a thin piece of duct tape.

There are better couplers that are not plastic. The ones sold by Wolverine are better. I have broken a couple plastic couplers and won't use them again.

i did practice a bit with my lar mags and found if i held a single in between my thumb and index finger by the bottom of the mag. I could then drop the empty mag out of the gun into my palm and grip it with my other 3 fingers then quickly load the other mag. only thing is getting good at grabbing a mag like that out of your pouch a little practice and maybe the ranger floor plates for ease of grabbing. I like the idea of an extended floor plate made of a pmag type material making them the length of a 20 round pmag maybe.
