Perhaps some input from the M's & Gm's regarding stages????
I have the task of designing 2 of Grenvilles Matches this year while someone else designs the other 3. So simply put if I go too technical and put lots of precision targets will this affect whether it could become a classifer. I like a good mix of close and long , and will incorperate stages allowing shooting on the move more this year. Last year both matches made Classifer status and hopefully this years also will.

Resist the temptation to use a lot of no shoots (we can use the term this week right?) and use hard cover on the targets instead.
Making people use those bumpy things on top of the gun with a bit of distance isn't a bad thing either.

Just a couple of distant/hard shots are all that are needed in a stage to separate the hosers from the good shooters. If you had a single position with a couple of 15 yard plates or difficult full/partial targets, they are enough to spread out the hit factors for the stage. If you put everything at 7 yards and closer, then the B class shooters will be shooting the same scores as GM's and M's.
