Making a trip to the Island in April/May

Just curious if there are any BB courses, or any IDPA Classifiers being run at the end of April or beginning of May, in or near Comox.

Thought I'd ask...it would be nice to get some of that stuff done when I'm in 'civilization'.

hahahah IPSC in comox valley? no i dont think so, i think they are just myths around here, like gypsys, the tooth fairy, an elk draw.

There will be an IDPA Safety Officer Course to be held in Terrace early in April. Date will be set in the next two weeks.

I am. We're heading down that way to Comox to have our next little munchkin (no child birthing in town here....but I digress).

I thought I'd try to combine the trip with getting up to speed before the Summer season.

I'll be working like a dog with the winter haul fast upon us, so if you folks are running something before the beginning of May, I'd have to pass.

I'm trying really hard to get IDPA active (heck started would be a better word) in our club.

I know there would be interest if we had someone who was pushing things along (I'd be someone). Add a BB course to our plans and we're hoping to gets things really jumping up here....we need to have more activities going on - to make the club more vibrant and as a hedge against losing our sport.
