COVID, et al and your buying habits

They can ban whatever they want idgaf.

I don’t take orders from communists and I will NEVER surrender my firearms.

Buy more and don’t stop buying. And let them know it when they come for them!

To all of you people thinking “oh they better reimburse me!”

What the hell good is your money going to do for you when you’re thrown into a gulag??

Wake the hell up.

My firearm related spending has stayed the same after the OIC and Covid. With the shortages lately my spending has been way up, mostly on ammo and mostly at my local shops because of shipping prices.

It must be hard for online sales these days. Hopefully there’s some light at the end of the tunnel.

You should be prepared for things to get much darker before you see light. Get strong.

Shipping prices are insane and shame on companies like UPS for cucking. Buying local however is always a good idea. Find new ways if old ways are being abandoned. Reliance on the system is one of the things we are being pulled away from and that is a good thing. Now would be a good time to start firearms and ammo only courier companies. Stay strong and never capitulate to the criminal communist cabal who thinks they are in power.

They do plan to reimburse you. How do they come up with the cash again though?

They print it, obviously. The USA just printed another $1.5Trillion the other day. Canada's been doing much the same. Of course this devalues the currency... but what does government care now? They're in it for the short term, until the new thing gets established and old fiat currency has zero meaning. It's not like repaying that debt is likely ever to happen.

A friend who got me into studying for my PAL/RPAL a few years ago told me the other day that Reliable Guns has their testing course booked through May. Loads of people are realizing they need firearms, and soon, so they're jumping through the hoops to make that happen. Good for them. I hope the RCMP doesn't make these batches of applicants wait as long as I had to wait... that was painful.

17 months for me! Communist scum!

My gun buying may have changed thanks to our government. Less tactical, more hunting now. Too scared to buy my steel bangers anymore.

I've learned that a good price is usually the current price, if you wait the price will have doubled or even tripled. Buy what you want when you want it and enjoy it while you still can.

Been working from home for 2 years: Little to no gas and parking expenses anymore. Upgraded a lot of stuff in those last 2 years!

Used the opportunity to upgrade my hunting rifle and hunting scope. Purchase a bit more ammo than usual for it as well.
Tried a 20ga for the first time (bought and sold that one), but purchased a SxS I always wanted in 20ga for upland birds.

Stocked up on ammo as well (and continue to do so).

My rpal went in 4 months before covid, and got to me a month after the OIC, 10 months. It's 0005, so it.should have been a rubber stamp. Really all I wanted.anyways was a stripped lower one.pistol. Then the OIC, and basically I threw away $100. Traded out a shotgun coming on a year ago. Two trades, a 38/357 or a 44 mag lever carbine. Had a trade lined up for.the revolver, had to beg off, BC requires a range membership. Guess how long it took for the range to get back to me? Sorry trick question, they never did. Combine that with a ferry to get to the range. Just another way we are.our 9wn worst enemies.

You can join Silvercore, and it's a recognized gun club with no range.
Just sayin.

I don't buy s#it I don't need anyway. In the last two years I've gone to Reliable twice and bought a Mora knife, a box of rifle cartridges and two boxes of shotgun shells.

Which differs from 12(x) how exactly? I live on a island, hours.from any other range. Obviously, they held up rpals, knowing the OIC was coming. Had a pistol pre anything, pain in arse then, worse now. Might just as well print a picture of a 357. Local range did that, rather did nothing.
