Liquid-Snake: X2 on the Taylor & Co. Comanchero. The way to go, if you want a competition-ready rifle, right out of the box. If you prefer to have your own rifle built from scratch, Rusty Wood (aka: Peter Riedel) is about the best cowboy gunsmith in Canada. At least in my opinion(based on personal experience). The cost of converting say, a stock Uberti 1873 rifle won't be anymore expensive than the Comanchero. Peter stocks all the aftermarket parts for the conversion. Worth a look. As a matter of interest, Rusty Wood is a highly experienced cowboy action competitor, who knows what it takes to make his rifles perform.
