Hello.
I have a worn PAL instruction lever Win 94 30-30 that has become increasingly cantankerous and unreliable. It cycles cartridges from the magazine but won't take them through the loading gate without a struggle. I suspect it is because the lever isn't making proper contact with the frame and the small locking bolt which protrudes down from the grip. That said I'd like to resurrect it if possible.
It certainly needs a new firing pin as the one it started with was removed for safety's sake.
I figure if I open up that jigsaw I won't get it back together. Do any of the cowboy shooters have a recommendation for a reliable ever gun smith who can troubleshoot and make effective repairs?
