Coyote Callers..........?

I got a foxpro inferno for Christmas I’ll see if I can get a few yotes in the next few weeks, I’m wondering if I should spend another 100 for the decoy?

I recently bought a Primos TurboDog. The Coyote calls are proven excellent and effective. I'd like to add some quality Moose calls to it. Cow in estrus on an old Cass Creek caller despite the low bucks was very very effective(got run over by two side by sides) I'm new to downloading calls but would like to have a moose folder on the TurboDog. Any help would be appreciated. Primos have a couple Moose calls, but not what I'm looking for

I’ve used calls from Kerry Carver’s “strictly business” set for going on 8 years now. The coaxer and open reed song dog slayer are my favourite. The raspy cottontail works well from a distance too. I always start a set with that coaxer which is super quiet, and Ive been surprised a few times by the dogs it can actually bring in. Carver calls are an unreal value, top quality too.

Another mouth call that doesn’t get a lot of recognition and another of my favourites is the Primos Cat Nip. Very unique sounds, and very versatile. I’ve never felt like I needed an E-caller, but I won’t argue their usefulness YMMV.

some great ideas here i personally love the foxpro's have had several over the years. also think its advantageous o use mouth calls along with an electronic caller. just my two cents.

I use a johny walker stalker mouth call. Biting it makes squeaks to rabbit distress and just blowing it nearly mimics a crow. It works great. Once i see a yote coming just kissing the rifle stock will turn them in at 200 yards. Their ears are amazing. Ive often thought about ecallers but im too lazy to haul them around. I do have some sounds on my phone that work great as well

Guys with Battery problems in their callers. Changed to rechargeables with a high mha and you will see a difference.

tar21, spend your money on a moving decoy for at the caller. Don't spend money on coyote body decoys.

Quite a few years back I was working retail and some guy came into the store looking for a portable speaker that would let him play coyote calls really loud. Portable wireless pocket sized speakers being relatively new at the time, there weren't many options. I showed him the loudest one and he asked if he could try it out - no problem.

Everyone in the whole store stopped dead in their tracks the very second the coyote call went through that speaker. It was so loud and real sounding that it freaked everyone out.Laugh2

Good times. - Just thought I'd share - it's my only experience with coyote hunting.

Used manual calls over the years with good success. The other day my son called in a lynx with an electronic call. Made me a believer, they called out 4 lynx in a day the week before. Think I’ll be switching to electronic 8)

Thanks chas and remyltr, it's going on the fusion tomorrow. I had fresh wolf tracks above the house yesterday morning after the big snowstorm but they were not interested in any offerings I have now so maybe something new.
