Coyote Carcass

Glad to hear! Western yotes tend to do a lot better than ojr eastern ones though. Have to respectfully question that you 'made' $5K on them though. Was that after expenses? If not, you made considerably less I suspect. Used to trap in ontario and my gross fur sales were around $7500 avg a yr and I was always operating at loss after expenses. Didn't help that the last couple of years I trapped our dollar was pretty much par with US$. Loved it though and hope to be able to get back at it again sometime soon.

Believe me or not but I don't do anything but chase coyotes from Oct 15th till March, I shoot and run rams.....fur adds up real quick if you are willing to work for it. Our heavy westerns are the best in the world and the price reflects that.

You can abandon the fur if it is deemed to have no commercial value.
Which is likely the case

Does no commercial value count if you use light bullets in a large mag, etc? I have 2 boxes of 200gr .375 win bullets that I'm going to load to ~3000 for coyotes out of my .375. Bet there's not much commercial value left but the ####s and giggles value will be through the roof.
