Same yote that came to the call the other day and I had already got up and walked back to the truck after 30 minutes. When I got to the truck I looked back to see he crossing the field and heading to my setup.

2 days of rest and

He thought he better be a little quicker this morning. 26 minutes into the calling and he comes out in a blizzard of snow. Winds were high from the west/ north /west and the front of the Vortex filled with snow so I could see him with my eyes enter the field but no way could I see him in the scope. I let him come in, watching him off and on in the scope til I had a view of his out line and Barked and he stopped - For good -

The setup with him laying out in the field - he came from the right, coming with the wind.

Right on! The coyote posts are going to start up again. I cant wait to header out to my area, but I have to wait till the shotgun zone that I go in is closed before I can take the centerfire in there.

I to was thinking of picking up a sunshade for my vortex the other day

That is a monster coyote. Plenty of MB that need to be removed so let the games begin

I keep hearing ans seeing that the wildlife numbers are down and the predator numbers are up this year. Should be a big number of yote kills this year. w00ty w00t Hope the price of fur is good again.

AJH, way2go !!!
Hope you have lots of ammo loaded and the keyboard is in good shape for more stories/pictures of your hunts.
Wished I didnt have to think about the SSS routine here in the lowermainland with all these urban yotes around.
Guess I will have to try and get them with the 7.3.
7.3 L Power Stroke that is,
Best Regards,
Rob
