Coyote gun?

Looking for recommendations on best gun options for Coyote hunting in Ontario. Have an opportunity to hunt from local farmers to hunt them, its in WMU 87 so there is restrictions. Affordable is key, as I have many for big game.

Looking at the properties, what would be a long shot?
Are you looking for fur, or just culling?
Will you be shooting over bait?
So many questions.
Some of the guys I know have ditches the 223's and moved to 243's for culling.
If your calling, a 12 gauge and buckshot works well.
