there's no mag limit on any bolt centerfire non-restricteds either, I believe....I have a six round for my Tikka from the factory.

Look at the regs for your area, I know there are some zones aroung Algonquin that are closed to wolf and coyote, verify everything. Coyotes are small game and therefore you do not need to wear hunter orange as long as there is no big game season with gun on in your area. As to mag capacity this goes back to the federal laws, shotgun still limited to 3 rounds including the chamber, centerfire semi auto rifles limited to 5 rounds in the mag, meaning 6 with the chamber. Besides this there are no limits for mag capacity, you can have a 50 rd clip on your ruger 10/22 22 LR but rimfire rifles are not really coyote medicine.

Don't you need a coyote/wolf tag to hunt them north of the French and Mattawan? Visit the MNR website and read the hunting regs carefully paying particular attention to the WMZ you are hunting in.
