Your Fury will take 8AA's, and the charger is cheap enough to be affordable. Rechargeable batteries are a bit better for the high current drain stuff like this caller.
In the cold the best battery is Lithium, but not economical to buy. In the winter a good idea is to use one of those chemical hand warmers, put it against the battery compartment and let er rip!
Once you have the wall plug then any rechargeable cell will work, and with the extra battery holder from radio shack you are guaranteed not to run out of batteries.
The remote takes 3 AA's, I put the Energizer lithium in mine and the battery indicator has not moved from full since I owned it. I play with it all day, and most nights, not including when I hunt with it.:redface:
