Hi there everyone.

Just wondering if anyone has any advice on land on where to hunt for coyotes? Or if you need a hand keeping them off your land and would like a young respectful hunter help keep the population down let me know

My hunting land I'm currently using allows deer hunting only.

I live in Cobourg, about an hour East of Toronto and an Hour West of Kingston.

Any help is much appreciated!

good day no one is going to give away there hunting land to some one on the internet .you may get lucky and have some one take you along ,but you are going to have to get out and do some scouting and door knocking to find some farms to hunt on ,guys like me and many others have been hunting the same areas for 30 plus years and will be very carful of who thy tell or show were thy hunt .good luck and knock on some doors ,Dutch

It's most unfortunate that Ontario has limited access to hunting. If you lived in southern Alberta, land owners would be more than grateful to have you hunt on their land. I see the odd thread on here of the odd coyote shot in detail, however in Alberta, 6 to 10 per day is not uncommon. The winter of 2008 I shot exactly 65 between Dec 15 to Feb 1. and never put a dent into the population. I received between $25 to $35 per non-skinned coyote plus a $10.00 bounty per dog on top of that.
