So it is that time of year again. The time of year when I start thinking about putting down some yotes in the winter. I have found partners on here in the past and it was a blast!

This year my uncle is coming into possession of my grandfathers land as he passed this xmas. So first step will be talking to my uncle to get his permission for that land. I already have it for the land he previously owned so I don't foresee a problem. That gives us 350 acres, plus another two farmers on both sides of my family land. All in all, about 700+ Acres of land in Mallorytown. A little less than seasons past, but with the older farmers dying and family selling their land the years of 1200 acres of unbroken hunting land are gone :(

I live in Ottawa, It is a 1.25 hour drive to Mallorytown. Looking for someone with a vehicle that would want to make it out 1 or 2 times a month. I do not have a vehicle right now, so the offer is a place to hunt and some gas money in exchange for the ride :)

Would like to get out with you for a full day before snow falls and maybe one after the creeks are frozen to scout/build blinds/clear lines of sight and stuff.

Anyone in the capital who is interested please let me know :)

here is two i shot last year just to get you pumped up ;)

Dude. Yes. I live in Ottawa too. Can we hunt geese there too? You let me hunt there and you can keep the gas money. Ill pick you up and drop you off every time.

I'm interested as well. I live in rockland and duck hunt on the river. We could do a trade. Coyote hunting for duck hunting?

Also very interested. Have a 4x4 to get around. Always wanted to coyote hunt. Have a scoped rifle that doesn't get as much use as I'd like.

ive got a 4x4, a hunting licence and a gun. never hunted coyote before but id be willing to give it a shot (pun intended). shoot me a pm

Evan14,

Your offer seems to be popular! If I lived in Ottawa, I would pick you up, have a coffee and breakfast from McDonald's waiting for you, chauffeur you to the hunting grounds (letting you sleep along the way), haul your gear into the stands, clean your gun after the hunt, take you out to supper and a movie and have you back home in time for your favourite TV show. :) Beat that!!!!

On a serious note, it goes to show you how valuable it is to have access to good hunting property. Good luck this season!

Im picky with inviting other hunters along , I like to meet before hand once or twice, see how keen they are an if their attitude changes. im also not one for buttering up.

great offer an good to see this stuff happens in Canada as it does in Aus, Swap hunts are very popular.
