Is there any place that buys the hide or is a license needed For sale of hide or can I just give it away?

Thanks

In BC we just have to take them home then do with them what we want. I contacted the BC Trappers Assoc. and found a trapper near me that was happy to take any I shoot off my hands. As long as he'll come get them I give them to him for free as I am not sure of the laws and regulations regarding selling them.

in NS you need a fur harvester license if you start selling them (commercially), but you can do whatever you want with the entirety of a legally taken animal.

Your best bet is to read the Ontario Provincial Hunting Regs.
Likely easily found online.
You could also peruse the several hunting threads and possibly private message one of the guys from your province and ask a few more questions.
Dont ask for their spots as you likely wont get the answer you are looking for.
You might (will) find some very helpful guys into coyote hunting, just do some homework first .

I am just north of Kingston, if the hide is decent I know a guy that will take it off your hands, he won't pay for it but it will be processed and put to use. Or learn how to skin it, flesh and board it, then get it tanned, make a great throw on the couch in cold weather!

Coyotes are small game, fur bearing mammals.

Coyotes don't have "hides" as such they have "pelts" by definition that they are a fur bearing mammal

You should read Fish and wildlife conservation act 1997...

https://www.ontario.ca/laws/statute/97f41

Read hunting regulations... (not the summary) O.Reg.665/98

https://www.ontario.ca/laws/regulation/980665

From O. Reg 665/98...
134. A hunter who is licensed or authorized to kill a furbearing mammal is exempt from subsection 36 (3) of the Act and may abandon a pelt or permit a pelt to be spoiled or destroyed if the pelt is of no commercial value. O. Reg. 665/98, s. 134.

Read the Possession Buying and selling wildlife regulations...O.Reg.666.98

https://www.ontario.ca/laws/regulation/980666

From O.Reg666/98

12. (1) For the purpose of subsection 48 (1) of the Act, the holder of a small game licence may, without any other licence, sell pelts of furbearing mammals that were killed under that licence during the open season. O. Reg. 172/13, s. 8.
