Just finished reading through the AB Hunting Guide and have a question I just couldn't quite answer:

I can hunt Coyote on Private Land (with permission) persuant to the Livestock Predation Regs, can I also hunt on Crown Land provided that I'm within the specific regs for that WMU?

Also, I'll be in the Wainwright area Jan-Mar. Anyone have any contacts for that area or know of who might require/allow me to take a few coyotes on their land?

Thanks

Coyote
A Resident may, without a licence and on land to which he or she has the right of access, hunt (but not trap) coyote at all times of the year throughout the province, except as follows:
1) on public lands in the Green Area, only from October 1, 2007 to February 28, 2008, and
2) in Camp Wainwright (WMUs 728 and 730), only from December 17, 2007 to February 28, 2008.

Can only hunt in the green areas on the WMU map(for public lands)

506-Where in Sask are you? I'm from PA.

Whammy-The way I read that, Coyotes on public land are up for grabs at all times except in the Green area where the season must be followed. Does that sound right?
