Before the SPS series, Remington had the ADL Synthetic with a SA, 1 in 9" twist and chambered in .223 Rem. Not a heavy barrel target rifle, but still has the accuracy to reach out and nail coyotes way out yonder. A good deal came up in the CGN EE on a Burris FFII 4.5-14x44 with the ballistic plex reticle. With factory 45gr HP, this .223 has put down coyotes out to 330 yards (laser RF) and when dialed up to 14x, has more than enough power for the job.
