Hello all,

I am just curious what most of you do with the coyote after the kill? I am very interested in getting into hunting them but wouldn't just want to leave them laying where they fell. I do deer and turkey hunt but obviously I keep them. If skinning them for the hide is the answer is there anyone on here that is close to my area that would want the hide as I am not interested in them? I know they can be a pest but if someone has a use for them I'd rather see that. All opinions would be appreciated, Thanks.

if its winter and a prime fur someone will gladly take the pelt (ESPECIALLY if you skin it LOL) if not leave em in the field. Just think, you are feeding crows, other coyotes, foxes, not to mention rats, mice and other critters that other coyotes feed on. Really your doing other animals a favour. I guess you could eat it, or even mount it. A first coyote is a good one to get skinned, tanned and placed on the wall. Everytime you look at it will remind you of the hunt.
