Can someone clearly tell me if a canadian resident can hunt coyote in Saskatchewan? I will be hunting white-tail deer in November and want to know if I should bring along my .223?
Cheers
Danny

Saskatchewan coyotes are to be left alone so Dogleg and I can harass them. Non residents could hunt them at one time , but it lead to too many people saying they were coyote hunting when they were really poaching deer.

Fricken poachers. Those are a couple of good sized Badgers you've got there. Did they actually respond to a call or were they just targets of opportunity? Opportunity I'm guessing.

ya leave the yoties for us saskatchewanites
beer, chubby chasing and coyote hunting are all we have for entertainment here

and dito on the badgers
love it when you get a good solid hit on one and he turns and charges full speed towards you

Now, the reason for non residents to be able to hunt coyotes is that they are considered fur bearing animals and thus a tag is needed?
Alberta considers them fur bearing and a tag and other regs need to be followed.
BC, they are considered a varmint and a general hunting lics. is needed .
There is also a season for them(Thank You Moe Sahota)
So, to the OP check the Hunting Regs for Sask and re-read it again so you are perfectly clear as to what you can and can not do.

Poachers my A$$. The badgers were taken legally with my Sask. trapping licence, modified Bridger's and a little Powder River lure.

^ I wasn't calling you a poacher, I was making the comment in reference to the hunters who said they were coyote hunting and poaching deer instead.

Incorrect in alberta there is a season for them but no tag is needed, and fur does not need to be retained.
If on private land which you have access to open all year round.
