nice job on the coyote . it has been my experience that machines such as the trail groomer do not spook coyotes unless they stop and then they pay attention . i have had a coyote move out of a hay field i was cutting but not before i got down to the last thirty feet or so as he was well hidden in the hay .i swear they know if you have a gun or not .

Where I hunt, the farmer has told me that the coyotes will follow behind his tractor when he tills the fields over.

I think the tractor scares up mice and the yotes are lookin for a easy meal
