No, sent it to the skinner,that's the first one I have seen other than the post last month someone had.He has seen 3 more in the last 15 years or so.It was his first.

couple years back I had my eye on a blackie like that one. Never ended up getting him but would have had it tanned out for sure. They sure stand out on a snow filled field.

damn, what a waste, while definitely a trophy they fetch almost nothing at auction. My neighbour snared one a few years back and got $10 for it at the auction.
If nothing else, should have the skinner send it to the tanner's and have it tanned and hung on a wall.

That is amazing, even though they are becoming more common these days. theres one around where I live too that was seen during deer hunting, has the white patch in his chest as well

theres a guy in the states(Michigan I think) that trapped 3 black ones in 3 consecutive days!

Seen one like that around Arthur. Another hunter shot it while we were hunting coyotes with dogs. He was black with a white patch too.

I've only ever seen one black one, about 15 years ago, never got a shot at it...

Have seen a few black wolves though...

There is a big black yote around our property I never seen him this year but I missed him during deer season last year he was huge almost 2x the size of the other yotes that I have seen in the area maybe its a wolf?....is there wolves in the Tweed area?

Quite possible it is a wolf. I have seen black wolves near Whitney while deer hunting...
